Start the tour with Rasnov Fortress, located on a hill overlooking the surrounding valley. Built as a defensive structure for local communities, the fortress controlled access routes through the mountains.
Access inside remains limited due to restoration works, but the exterior, walls, and viewpoints offer a strong visual experience and wide panoramic views.
Continue to Prejmer, home to one of the best-preserved fortified churches in Eastern Europe and part of the UNESCO heritage. The structure is surrounded by massive defensive walls, designed to protect the village during invasions.
Inside, you will find storage rooms, narrow corridors, and a unique defensive layout that reflects the organization of the Saxon community.
The final stop is Harman, another important fortified church located close to Brasov. The complex includes thick walls, towers, and a central church, all designed for both religious and defensive purposes.
The atmosphere is quieter and less crowded, offering a more direct experience of local history and architecture.
